It was inspired by the lakes here in Brown County, Indiana. The mist rising from the lakes resembles ghosts floating across the water. I'll be doing more nature-inspired paintings in the weeks to come.
This painting was done with Liquitex Heavy Body Acrylics, and painting details are demonstrated in the video.
